Winter Postcard

The epic and historical storm that buried Boston, yesterday, swerved and totally missed us in the night, alas. Happily, in anticipation of the whopping blizzard that never happened, they cancelled school; so, we had a lovely day at home, anyway - lazing about in front of the fire and eating sticky, cinnamony monkey bread.

These pictures are from a few days before the floundered event when the snow behaved and acted like picturesque Vermont snow should! and that's enough of that! Back to a warm place under covers I go! It's been cold and windy enough for any proper winter!!

Cozy thoughts to you!

  1. Hello Katy,

Thank you for the delightful postcard.

We are so happy to receive snowy images as all we have here in Budapest is sleety rain and an arctic wind.

Stay warm and safe.....the sticky bread sounds delicious.....wish we could pop in for tea!

  3. So happy to hear the snowpocalyps missed you! Hope it wasn't too bad in other parts of the US. Vermont looks magical with a layer of snow. We haven't seen much snow this year, but I don't really mind that much. I rather enjoy the mild temperatures :-)

    Stay warm Katy!

    Happy weekend,

    Madelief x
