We got about a foot of snow, yesterday, and it's stuck to the trees and the winter world outside is just gloriously beautiful. Meanwhile, I'm working away - all cozy and festive - in the kitchen. Thanksgiving dinner is next door at Grandma's house but I am making a smaller gluten free version for myself. (Grand experiments with stuffing, don't you know.)
There's just something about the way that the stark, cold winter white outside makes our home look so richly comfortable and pretty on the inside!
Warmest wishes to your home from ours!!

Happy Thanksgiving Katy! Your picture is so inviting. I want to settle into your windsor chair by the fire, the best seat in the house! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and heartwarming. :)

ReplyDeleteI hope you see this comment on time. Wishing you and your men a Merry Christmas and a warm, healthy and loving near year! Wish I could take a look into your kitchen to see what you are baking and admire your Christmas tree in the living room. Ha, ha, I can almost envisage it!
