Hello Katy: What an amazing image! We do hope that you have all spent the most wonderful day, as we are sure that you will have done, with plenty of time to relax and, almost certainly, a delicious lunch or dinner.
Just me and the fairies popping in to say happy dewdrops and Midsummer magic! You will post your dew drops wont you? I liked it when you went gruff, I slapped you on the back a little too hard and followed through with a shoulder charge if that helps!!!
Your dad must be happy with this exotic eye wink :-). Did you take the photo yourself? I really like it!
Happy birthday to you! Hope you had a lovely day with your family. Did you celebrate it and perhaps bake a special pie for the occasion? Tom's birthday present to you sounds lovely. Delicious food + plants for in the garden is always ok!
The woody part of your garden with the ferns sounds good. I have a part that is shade and full of trees as well. Not much grows there. Perhaps I will follow your example.
The tea outdoors sounds just perfect. I hope you will have it. If only so that I can see how lovely it all looked :-)! Tomorrow, if the weather permits, I will have a dinner party for ten colleagues in my garden. They all bring something to eat or drink with them, so not all the work is on me. I look forward to it very much!
I enjoyed reading your comments, and your mail today too. Thank you so much! I hope that one day you can give me a tour of your garden. I would really love that. The way you describe it is just the way I like it! You know you were on my mind this week too, because my William Shakespeare rose was in bloom. Only one bud, but is was gorgeous!! I enjoy the fact too that we have lots of similar roses in our garden. We must have the same taste :-)!
Well that's it for now. I am off to the kitchen to make some tea.
